My journey with ceramics as an art medium started in 2022.

As my day job was mostly involving sitting behind a computer screen, I wanted to find a way to create connected physically with the material.

Ceramics gave me this opportunity.

I create a variety of forms, mostly organic - I love how many times clay guides me through the process- it's a dialogue with the material and learning how to embrace and incorporate some level of chaos and surprise to it.

As with my drawings, I try to create a whole world with ceramic pieces - they belong in the WERKA realm. A place that is filled with emotions - both positive and negative. They seem sweet, but there are always an unsure element to them. They can be friendly spirits, but they are spirits after all, you can't be certain what they will do...
